Downtime Information / Recent Server Issues on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

After a while trying to fend of hackers and getting the site back online we're finally ready to bring you Nintendo love once more.

Earlier in November we were unfortunately a victim of a hacking attempt where a group managed to replace our homepage with vile and disgusting content and figure out admin passwords. Since then we've taken the site to a newer machine in an attempt to improve security.

Please be aware that important user information like passwords were and are saved in our system as encrypted/protected data. However in interests of completely protecting the site we have had to reset user passwords. To login again please create a new password for your account by clicking here.

We should be secure and ready to rumble - however please keep an eye out for any suspicious activity in the coming weeks.

In interests of peace, please don't insult the hackers/countries etc - we have had some nasty threats regarding this and would like to move on from this.

A huge apology for the inconvenience, and many thanks for sticking with Cubed3 for your Nintendo news and information.

Little by little, this thing is coming together! Good job everyone for getting this place back up. I know from talking to a few guys that this place was sorely missed.

good to see the site back... just one little glitch annoys me... when logging in it says "username does not exist" but it still logs me in o-o

Great work to the C3 team, on getting the site up and running again. Smilie

I missed it lots, so I was really happy to find it was back up this morning. I also got the same message come up as Edracon, when I logged in (after I changed the password C3 sent me).

Is anyone else having problems loading the recent posts bar on the right side of the forum? It doesn't seem to load at all for me atm but it was working fine last night Smilie .

Unfortunately the hackers really tampered with my account so I have no idea how many stars I have/had Smilie

Still need to find out why it's doing the "user not found" thing - very odd!

Also your C3 Founder/Admin bar is gone!
As for your Stars I'm 100% certain you had atleast 1100.

When I try and change my signature, using the < img src = / > tags it doesn\'t work (so I can get rid of the border). I tried using the regular < /img> tags and it works with those.
