Zangeki no REGINLEIV is a brand new property being developed by Japanese company Sandlot for the Wii console and is set to be published by Nintendo early next year in Japan.

For those that have not heard of Sandlot, it is the same team that worked on Earth Defence Force. The team previously worked with Nintendo in 2007 on Chousouju Mecha MG for the DS as well, but along with Project Hacker from RED, it sadly never left Japan.

This new Wii game has a Norse Mythology background setting, with players taking control of one of two gods that must face off against giants. Gamers can use Wii MotionPlus to cut of their heads and limbs, with the game given a 'CERO D' rating, which is equivalent to the US ESRB 'Mature' rating. There will be a choice of over three hundred weapons, plus there is a four-player online co-operative mode using Nintendo's free Wi-Fi service.

Some promotional flyers, along with one for Hotel Dusk sequel 'Last Window', can be seen here.
