Media Create Full Weekly sales show New Super Mario Bros. Wii has sold nearly 1 millon units in Japan during its first week on sale alone. That is one very, VERY impressive sale.

it's a lot like earning your spent budget, doubling the margin for your next 2 year project in three lousy days.

Somebody's got to be smiling now?

Seems fine to me. I only see 1 or 2 typos.

Anyways, this game will probably reach 20 million in 3 years.

Next week should be big as well. Tales of Graces didn't sell too badly, and there were console bundles for this one.

Tales of Graces has done WORSE than ToS2. It's sold 113,000 first day, so will likely sell around 150,000 first week and given how Tales games go nowadays, could well struggle to hit more than 210,000 lifetime. On the other hand, Tales of Vesperia PS3, the one year old port of the 360 game, sold ~230,000 first week and is currently nearing 320,000 - i.e. the best selling Tales game in MANY years.

Nope - sales were tracked from Thursday's day of release to Sunday. Pokepark was a Saturday release.

However? I don't think you meant that Smilie When criticising someone's English/Grammar, it's best to not make mistakes yourself Smilie

Anyway, StuLaw's one of C3's new News Writers, so it's a learning curve. He also doesn't know that I'M the one that deals with sales stories. This will be re-written at some point with ALL the Top 50 MC data, extra Famitsu numbers and usual hardware layout that hit C3 each week Smilie

Updated the story now. You'll see that Final Fantasy Gaiden DS has dropped from No.18 to No.48...but I believe that's due to low stock. S-E issued a statement saying it was selling faster than it expected. Let's hope more can be pumped onto the market in time for the Christmas/NY rush!
