Capcom's Xbox 360 and PS3 project Dark Void is heading to Nintendo's DSiWare in the form of the original 2D game that inspired it!
The original concept for Dark Void, a side-scrolling platform/shooter, is being refreshed for Nintendo's DSiWare download service for a release around abouts the same time as its console-counterpart - January 2010.

Looks like a lot of fun. Now I'm interested in both this and the actual Dark Void game due out in January.
I haven't figured out yet whether or not the story they are giving is true or if they are just doing some very inventive PR. Either way, it represents some very creative thinking.
