More Ogre Battle & Kirby for JPN VC on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo has revealed exactly what it will be releasing in Japan on the Virtual Console in January. It seems that Nintendo is hoping to start 2010 with a bang on the retro front, enlisting the help of Square Enix and its Ogre Battle series, a couple of MSX titles, as well as Nintendo's own Super NES upgrade of Kirby Star Stacker from the Game Boy.

Check out the list of games confirmed for January:

  • Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom (NES, Hudson Soft)
  • Kirby no Kirakira Kizzu (aka Kirby Star Stacker, SNES, Nintendo)
  • Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber (N64, Square Enix)
  • Parodius (MSX, Konami)
  • Salamander (MSX, Konami)
