Following the uncovering of the first details about Zangeki no Reginleiv for Wii and the recent in-game trailer, Nintendo has now released a batch of new screenshots to show just how impressive the game looks. Set for release on 11th February, 2010, the Sandlot-developed action title makes use of MotionPlus and online Wi-Fi co-operative play for up to four players. Recent attempts to tap into the 'core' market in Japan have failed, with the likes of Sin & Punishment 2, Another Code: R and Endless Ocean 2 all struggling to amass sales of over 20,000 units and dropping off the charts very quickly. That was when the Wii was definitely hitting a major low in Japan, though, but New Super Mario Bros. appears to have boosted the platform considerably in recent weeks, so it is hoped that some of the new Wii owners will be eager to pick this up come early February.
For now, check out the fourteen new screenshots added to the media folder below.
