Rumour: NFL Trainer from EA for Wii?

Earlier in the month, EA Canada's Community Manager, Alain Quinto Tweeted that EA Sports is planning to reveal a brand-new game in January. Many have been curious as to what this game is, and sources from Destructoid have said that this could be a new American Football IP made specifically for the Wii, and not just another Madden game.

The rumoured game is currently going under the name of NFL Trainer, and it is supposedly all about getting players to do American Football-based exercises and workouts. The new game will also coach players on how to throw footballs, giving advice on how to execute the perfect throw. There is also talk of an America Football-shaped attachment being included with NFL Trainer.

Destructoid say their sources have been reliable in the past, but it looks like we'll have to wait until January to find out.
