On this day, 2557 days ago your favourite (or most hated) Nintendo information, features and discussion site made its mark on the internet.
That's right folks; today Cubed3.com turns a whopping 7 years old, pretty darn ancient in web life!
A lot has changed for Nintendo and video gaming since we gave birth to this monster - the Nintendo 64 came to an end, and the gaming giant's adorable box of tricks, the GameCube, had started to flourish.
Now we've got a slimmer, sleeker Nintendo, who has pioneered motion control for the masses in the Wii and dabbled in dual screen trickery with the DS. As for the rest of the bunch, high definition, Blu-Ray, red rings and giant enemy crabs - it's been a long, long ride and we've got you to thank!
A big super-group hug for everyone that's visited, commented and contributed to the site. There have been major ups, and hair-tugging downs - but we've gotten through with an awesome bunch of like-minded people. C3 has always and shall always be about the community: to bring together a community of fun, discussion and most importantly Nintendo-loving gamers.
So pull up a chair, hats on and have a huge slice of cake on us!

You should post screenshots of how the site has changed in the last 7 years. I remember some pretty big changes since I first discovered the site (back when Cubed referred to a new console).

Yup, the place has really changed since I joined almost 4 years ago, back then, broadband was new to me, and I was in year 10 at school, and I was trying to get what knowledge I could about Nintendo's so called 'Revolution'. This site seemed to have all the coverage I needed, so I joined
