Start the New Year with a bang and pay a visit to the Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop today. This week brings you an action-packed selection of games, including Stop Stress: A Day of Fury and Stunt Cars on WiiWare, Art Academy Second Semester, Sokomania and Move your Brain - Rollway Puzzle on Nintendo DSiWare and Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi on Virtual Console.

    WiiWare

Stop Stress: A Day of Fury (Abylight, 800 Wii Points)
Jack's dreams have become a nightmare and only you can help him to get out. Climb into the skin of the most stressed-out man in the world, grab the baseball bat and prepare to let off more steam than you ever have before. Begin to make your desires come true. Destroy everything around you, beat a path through the traffic or at the office and face off against incredible hallucinations before the stress finishes you off. What strange creature will be the first to attack you at home? How far will a day of fury take you?

Stunt Cars (Icon Games Entertainment Ltd, 800 Wii Points)
Stunt Cars take place on elevated race tracks, with very little to stop the player from accidentally driving off the side. Turbo can be used to make a car go faster, but it can only be used for a limited amount of time in each race. As you progress through the game's four championship cups, you'll gain access to special unlocks such as the driver achievement awards. With 24 wild and challenging tracks with huge jumps, ramps and tunnels and the choice of six different cars, you’ll never get bored. You can also challenge your friends in the four player split screen racing mode.

    DSiWare

Art Academy Second Semester (Nintendo, 800 Nintendo DSi Points)
Take your artistic skills further with the second of our easy-to-use titles that aim to bring out the artist in you through your Nintendo DSi system. Art Academy: Second Semester brings you advanced techniques such as colour mixing, improving your pencil work and combining your skills into a complete work of art. Follow friendly tutor Vince through the steps, then put your skills into practice, replicating classics like The Hay Wain and Mona Lisa. Art Academy also features a Free Paint mode for creating original works. You can exchange images with the Nintendo DSi Camera album, from where you can share your masterpieces with friends and even upload to Facebook.

Sokomania (CINEMAX, 200 Nintendo DSi Points)
This game is a variation on a warehouse keeper theme. With several crates placed on the playing area, you are tasked with controlling a figure that can push the crates forward. The aim is to get all the crates on the places designated. So, what are you waiting for?!

Move your Brain - Rollway Puzzle (Assoria, 500 Nintendo DSi Points)
Help the ball of "Move your Brain - Rollway Puzzle" to find the way out of each level. To do so, solve the riddles and use your dexterity to escape your enemies without falling. While playing, tilt the system to move the ball. Collect the gold coins to open certain passages, go onto a switch to set off the mechanisms.

    Virtual Console

Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (SEGA MEGA DRIVE, SEGA, 800 Wii Points)
Easy to play, hard to master: Shadow Dancer is the sequel to the original Shinobi arcade game and is one of the only games in the Shinobi series to feature true arcade-style gameplay. You play as Joe Musashi, a ninja master, known only to his enemies as "The Shinobi". This battle is not one Musashi must fight alone, as this is the first game in the Shinobi series to feature Musashi's ninja attack dog, Yamato, who will charge at foes on command and leave them open to attack. Use your mastery of ancient ninja techniques to topple the Neo Zeed crime syndicate and free the hostages in New York City. Good luck, and may the ninja spirits guide you in your journey!

Cave Story should be out between february-march at the latest but we'll get a great game with some extra DLC so that will be great. In the mean time I've got 6 Wiiware games to finish so I'm not complaning... that much.
