Famitsu has revealed the overall top ten best-selling games for December 2009. Sitting pretty at the top of the pile is New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which managed to keep ahead of Square Enix's thirteenth entry into its flagship Final Fantasy RPG series. Also remaining strong, months after release, is Nintendo's cross between The Sims and Animal Crossing, but with Mii characters included - Friend Collection is the third best-seller of the month, with over 600,000 sales, bringing its total to over 2.3 million since launching back in June with just over 100,000 units sold in its first week.

I wonder if Nintendo will definitely bring over Tomodachi Collection as 'Mii Collection' or something like that in the US and Europe? You'd think given its strong sales it would be given a chance here.
