Super Mario Galaxy Cloned in China

Games borrow ideas from others, but a Chinese developer has taken things a little bit too far with a hilarious Mario Galaxy clone.

A slightly demented looking blue dinosaur who flies around planets, collects blue/yellow star shards and earns stars - sounds just a little too familiar!

I don't get it. I don't see how any of the visuals, gameplay, or music even slightly relate to Mario in any way, shape, or form. As far as I know, Mario isn't a reptilian.
It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

That looks total aids. Credit for the total rip-off-iness of it though, that takes some doing.

I think British Gas commercials ripped off Mario Galaxy more.

That is pretty fucking impressive for a rip-off game. Even if they stole the SMG game engine, this is better than any fan game I've seen.

Probably stems from the fact gameplay mechcanics cant be patented or trademarked...only assets (mesh's/artwork).

Still bezire for so much effort to be put into something without them at least trying some of their own ideas along the way.

Yeah haha, it\'s a total rip. Looks decent for some fan game, though. The music is nice, as well. Wouldn\'t be surprised if the chuuunz were stolen from some place. The character reminds me of Spiro.

Hah, that doesn't look half bad actually. It's amazing that no real game developers have gone that direction yet.
It makes me realize how much I want SMG2.

Also, I'd never seen those British Gas commercials. Yeah they ripped off SMG!
