Fatal Frame: Tsuki Hami Kamen may never be localised officially outside Japan, yet a group of dedicated fans have produced their own.
The game was originally to be translated however Nintendo decided not to - and it's looking that way for the foreseeable future. It is unofficially playable in English now, thanks to group of Fatal Frame fans. By patching the game's data, an SD card and an external drive, owners of the game are able to replace all the in-game text with English.
If a group of coders are able to quickly translate a game, surely Nintendo can get its finger out to bring key releases to Europe, and the US in particular. Granted there is a lot more that goes into producing a retail game, but there are thousands of consumers gagging for various titles that Nintendo can easily provide.
If you are able to get hold of the game, be sure to try out the patch.
