Sonic the Hedgehog's father Yuji Naka's Prope Studio have found a different publisher to work with - Namco Bandai, producing Ivy the Kiwi.

Prope are working on the game for Wii and DS, set for release on April 22nd. Details are scarce, but according to Japanese magazine Famitsu (via Andriasang) you've got a simple goal: drawing lines to guide a kiwi to a goal, much like the mobile edition.

Got friends? There will be four player racing for both consoles. Finally, Ivy the Wiwi will be available at retail for ¥3,990.

Ah, excellent - glad this is coming out beyond iPhone. Liked the looks of it when it was first shown on there!

I love the look of the DS version! There will be stripped down WiiWare and DSiWare versions as well, I believe...
