It's...Z! Or at least that is its name until the Pokémon is properly revealed. Pokemon Sunday brought in Jun'ichi Masuda, one of the founding members of Game Freak, to reveal a silhouette of the new fifth generation Pokémon. The Pokémon is said to be the Z in Phantom Champion Z, which is the 13th movie in the series.
No further details of the Pokémon, or the movie, were revealed, although Pokémon Sunday indicated that February 21st will be the date where the Pokémon comes out of the shadows, and we may get further details in CoroCoro magazine next week.
This coincides with the news earlier this year that a fifth generation of the Pokémon game series is on its way to Nintendo DS.

I don't think it's an evo of Mightyena. If it's a "champion", then it's probably going to be some kind of new single-stage. Either that, or the evo of a Fighting Type, like Lucario or something.

My first impression of it is a Weavile, so maybe a new
form in the Sneasel evolutions, then again it kinda looks
like a werewolf...
