Travis Touches Down With No More Heroes 2 in April on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Breathe a sigh of relief, you European lovelies. No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle has finally been confirmed for release courtesy of Rising Star Games. Travis will 'touching down' again at the tail end of April, bringing plenty of viscera along with him in the much-anticipated sequel.


There had been concerns about the status of No More Heroes 2's European release, given that Marvelous recently announced that they would be selling their stake in Rising Star Games. Thankfully this does not seem to have affected the sequel to everybody's favourite otaku assassination game. While we don't have a specific date as of yet, we do have the rather smashing little image below declaring the spring 2010 European launch date. Pressed further, Rising Star Games mentioned that late April would be the rough time period in which we should be polishing up those beam katanas once again. The early indication is that blood is intact for the European release this time, too.

I'm now very confused about the state of this game's release... I'm ecstatic that RSG are publishing it, but a few days ago didn't Ubisoft release a list with NMH2 on it saying they would release it before March 31st?

Happy that it is coming, oh yeah.

But I still don't get what all the publisher fuss is all about. Is rising star in that much trouble? Was there ever a reason to fear no more heroes wasn't gonna make it?

Because, quite frankly, the us release date was once the european as well. Then it became end of march. Don't get me wrong, I'll wait as long as it takes, but I want to be certain that it really really is coming now.

Oh, and don't pull a little king's story here. Make it actually available, you know, so it is actually possible to buy it? Rising star messed that one up real good...

I just want a definite answer to this! It's really annoying me! Thought to be honest, my game money is going to be seriously depleted come the end of February till the end of March. So many good releases.

That was a list of releases from January 1st- March 31st in the US I think.

Anyway, it's going to have to compete with MH3 for sales, I'm going to buy both anyway Smilie.

No More Heroes 2 is definitely coming out in April with Rising Star Games.

The concern about NMH2 was that it had been said Rising Star were doing it, but then Marvelous selling their stake came about and it was uncertain whether they would still be publishing or if it would affect the release in any way. Doesn't seem to have changed anything, luckily.

There was some speculation a few weeks ago when Marvelous sold its 50% stake in Rising Star Games, but there was no reason to fear anything by it.

It is definitely coming to PAL.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this.
