Shin'en are set to explore WiiWare for the extreme adventurer in you. Take to the skies and seas with Jett Rocket.

The studio confirmed the game as a downloadable project today (after previously listing it as "Wii"), an adventure/action game where you explore planet Yoroppa and try to save the land from an evil "Power Plant Posse". It's an all out battle as you parachute off huge cliffs then ride across the ocean on a boat, zip through snow and even takeoff with a Jet Pack - hence the name!

The "epic futuristic full 3D Action-Adventure" as Shin'en describes it will be available to download later this year. For more information be sure to check out the official website.

This is set to be the biggest ever game for Shin'en, apparently. Can't wait to see what comes of it Smilie

These guys made the awesome Nanostray, so i'm not surprised their Wiiware offering looks as good as this. Smilie

I don't get how Nintendo hasn't already offered their financial support for this studio yet. They made an amazing work to squeeze incredible graphics out of the GBA, did the same thing on DS and now it seems they're set to deliver Wiiware's most beautiful title.

This studio should be offered the means to express their talents to full extent on the Wii on a big retail game.

Kafei, on the other hand, it's great for them to reach all this on their own. I hope they won't suffer like Cing did (*whine whine*), but continue to be a true 3rd party - 3rd parties are what Nintendo platforms lack.

This game looks great, surely a lot better then 50 % of Wii's retail games! Great work, guys. And it already is beautiful enough for me to want to buy it. I like how Wiiware shapes up. It is a great platform for genius games, small and great. I wonder how this one fits into my all time favourite lineup together with Lit, You, Me and the Cubes, Losts Winds 1 and 2, Ikarian and Co...
I find your lack of faith disturbing!
