EA Gets Active on Wii Once More on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Prepare to shed a few more pounds with the sequel to EA Sports Active, the multiplatform EA Sports Active 2.0, revealed at GDC 2010.

As well as the direct follow-up on Wii, the updated exercise game will be branching off onto the PS3 and iPhone/touch platforms. Both the console editions will now come with revised peripherals " a pair of wireless bands complete with motion sensors and a heart rate monitor when the blood starts to flow.

Like the original you claw these onto your arms and legs and follow a series of on-screen routines. You'll also be able to share progress online over an EA Fitness network and see what's working best.
