Samurai Warriors 3 Wii Slices into US

Nintendo of America's fall line-up for Wii will now include a slice of samurai with Koei's Wii exclusive remote-swinger, Samurai Warriors 3, making the cut.

The Dynasty Warriors spin-off was released back in Japan at the end of 2009, and it looks as if Nintendo want to ship it across by the end of this year. It's not certain whether features like online co-operative play and classic controller bundles will be brought over, but certainly something to start off the second half of 2010.

Will you be slicing it up this fall?

With Nintendo bringing the title to the US and hopefully to Europe (fingers crossed), they could spend the extra time including Wii Speak functionality.

Bringing this very Japanese Hack N Slash over to the West reeks of desperation on Capcom's part. There's just no market for Sengoku Basara in the West, nobody with a healthy brain is going to have any interest in the history or the gameplay.

Did you just say Dyansty Warriors spinoff? I'm in.
It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

    Online!

Doesn't look like the best game ever, but worth having as part of the line-up methinks.
