No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle Gets Release Date on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Players will get to take control of Travis Touchdown, a Pro-wrestling-obsessed assassin, on the 28th May in No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. Taking place three years after his past violent outing, Travis is back for a a touch of revenge via rising through all 51 ranks of the United Assassins Association.

It won't be an easy journey however, bosses are more deadly (and plentiful) than the last time round, even taking multiple bosses on at once! Travis will be equipped with his trusty beam katana and mad wrestling moves. Thrown into the mix are two new playable characters from the last game; Shinobu and Henry, providing a breath of different style to No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

"We're really excited to announce the official European release date
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle," says Martin Defries, managing
director, Rising Star Games. "The original became a cult hit on the
Wii when it released four years ago and the sequel is set to attract
an army of new followers. The inclusion of blood also means No More
Heroes 2 will be available in Europe the way the legendary Suda51
intended."

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle launches on 28th May exclusively
on the Nintendo Wii.

Are you looking forward to this title now that it has a release date? And where you a fan of the first No More Heroes?

I was right! So many people have been saying a late April release, but I was pretty sure I'd heard it was coming in May. Ah well, at least it gives us a bit more time to save up Smilie
