Ubisoft Keeps Pushing Red Steel 2 Wii

Whilst Red Steel 2 has been out here in Europe for a few weeks now, its performance is nowhere near as impressive as the original game. In fact, here in the UK it only managed to enter the Full Price Wii Top 40 at No.5 and has slipped one place over its next two weeks, with it currently sitting at No.7 this week.

However, that has not stopped Ubisoft from giving Red Steel 2 the push it thoroughly deserves, and below is a new video to show how the character of Okaji was brought to life, from sketch all the way to in-game model.

    Check out the video below:

Have you picked up Red Steel 2 yet, and if not, will you be buying it soon?

They better be pushing it, this game deserves at least a million in sales because it's a million times better than it's predecessor.

I doubt that sending promotional videos to gaming websites will help the game to reach the size of audience Ubisoft is hoping for.

I know, but when the ad budget was cut in half before launch, there's only so much they can do. Something's better than nothing, right?

I hope it sells steadily throughout its lifetime. I will get it once it drops a little bit in price.

i pre ordered the game and have it but cant get into it. it makes me nauseous. not the games fault as such. > have this problem with fps games in general but having to stand makes it ten times worst.

the voice acting is atrocious. the hub missions as quite generic so far but the sword play is weird to me. the lag is of putting

If I could remove a star, I would. Really this game is mighty impressive. I love the true first person look and feel, where the camera moves and shapes up. The gameplay is nothing but excellent - it has every bit of accuracy you could find. The art style is incredibly well done, and strongly executed. The voice acting? Maybe sometimes, especially the first sentence of payne. But after he says "break all your bones! twice!" you'll be convinced.

Really the only criticism this game could possibly get is its linearity in a way that is easily forgiven: it is one thing, and one thing only. If you don't like it, you'll know. So don't worry about that. But if you're able to like it in the slightest bit, this game is about the biggest gem you can find.

Old school gaming with incredible style, overblown coolness, brilliant execution. This should be a top seller on wii, I hope they at least make a decent profit. Worth every penny.
