1st Pokémon Black/White DS Video on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Clear screens and the first video of Nintendo's Pokémon Black/White on DS have now been revealed. Whilst the world went crazy for the first blurry scans of the 5th Generation of Creatures Inc./Game Freak's worldwide phenomenon last week, UK and US gamers have been biding their time by busily lapping up Pokémon HeartGold / SoulSilver (with SoulSilver the more popular of the two).

Now some clearer screenshots have emerged, which give a better idea of what to expect from what is expected to be a late 2010, possibly coming with some sort of 3DS hook-up feature.

Be sure to check out the screens in the media folder below and stick around for more Pokémon updates as and when they arrive.

That little snippet definitely makes me think of the city-wandering parts of Inazuma Eleven:

Looking good!

They showed the same part of White walking left on a loop over and over, and then purposefully teased us with a still of the battle screen when it's what we really want to see!

Those nuts guys over at Pokémon Sunday are master trolls. T_T

City moves quite well, but I hope it's not an overdone graphical effect I guess. I'm assuming there will be a nice mix.

Those Japanese people are way too enthusiastic _

It's an interesting graphical effect, but will it make any difference to the games, or are they just going to be basically the same game we have been playing already? Only time will tell I guess...

Add me on anything. I'm always looking for new friends/opponents/town visitors/chances to appear more popular than I actually am.

That girl is cute. I wonder if she would be impressed by my shiny Zubat?

I feel like one of those guys is going to pick her up by those rather large ears... Smilie

As exciting as watching someone walk in a semi-circle was, I was hoping for a bit more, to be honest.
It looks good, though. A lot of fans want the games to go fully 3D, a lot of fans dread that ever happening. This seems to be a good balance between the two.

Wow, you can walk in a 3d circle! Just what I was hoping for!

*Sigh

You're right, judging the game based on 3 second of footage walking through a single location of a huge RPG is a perfectly logical thing to do. Smilie

Seriously, being so pessimistic at such an early stage?

Judging what? All I said was that 'small; things like that weren't quite what I was hoping for, especially when it comes to demoed features. Maybe it's just me, but there should have been something else demoed besides walking in a circle.

EDIT: I have no idea how to use this sites quoting system.

That's just Pokémon Sunday doing what they do best, Pokemon stripteases. They did the same thing with HG/SS, only showed us a tiny 3 seconds of footage at first.
