Legendo Teases Pearl Harbor Trilogy on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Legendo have released a teaser trailer for the first episode of their new WiiWare series, Pearl Harbor Trilogy. It's been subtitled as 1941: Red Sun Rising and promises lots of World War II-based exhilarating aerial action.

After a jaunt into the platform genre with the generally well-received critically The Three Musketeers: One For All!, Legendo have switched their attention to another famous story, albeit one that is steeped in real, and potentially more controversial, history. Players will take their positions in the cockpits of World War II-era aircraft and fight it out in battles of the Pacific Theater such as the titular Pearl Harbor, Wake Island and Guadalcanal.

Check out the trailer below:

Pearl Harbor Trilogy - 1941: Red Sun Rising has been rated as PEGI 12+ and is due to launch in the near future on WiiWare. Until then, you can find more information on Legendo's website or join the Pearl Harbor Trilogy fan page on Facebook.

Are you looking forward to Pearl Harbor Trilogy?

It looks good for a WiiWare game. After the disappointing Sky Crawlers, and Heatseeker before it, hopefully this will do better.

Whoah! I remember reading about this a few months ago, but I hadn't seen any screenies or footage at the time. This looks damn good. Hopefully, it'll turn out to be ace. lol Sorry. I couldn't help myself.Smilie

This looks stunning! Between this and Jett Rocket, small developers are making WiiWare releases that look FAR better than big 3rd Party devs' retail games Smilie

I still haven't bought Sky Crawlers because of the mixed reviews, but i still plan to. But it's ridiculously expensive in my area. (50+ euros).

Oh and there's a very interesting interview of Shin'en Multimedia over on Nintendo Life: Wiiware. For those interested in outstanding Wiiware games.
