Call of Duty: Black Ops Heads to Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The seventh main-series entry into the Activision's longrunning Call of Duty series, Black Ops, has been confirmed for Wii.

When the project was originally announced there was little detail into which platforms it would venture onto - the likely contenders, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, have since been confirmed but it left Wii owners wondering if there'd ever be a chance.

However it looks you will be pumping lead with your Wii remotes when Call of Duty: Black Ops arrives in November. Eurogamer contacted Activision regarding a comment made in a preview with USA Today, with a representative noting:

Black Ops will be available on all four platforms, PS3, X360, PC and Wii, on 9th November.

Yeah definitely. I would score war a 4 at most. Just for the nice explosions.

Call of Duty can be likened to anal sex. It looks brown, muddy, not everyone likes it.

And this is another reason why Infinity Ward was full of itself. The Treyarch developed games make it to Wii at the same time. The ones by IW MIGHT get ported 2-3 years later...

Well only one infinity ward developed COD made it to wii and it was ported by Treyarch anyway

Plus it's popular amongst homosexuals.

Treyarch gets a kind of rough time with COD, but I still don't think they're as good as IW. They just use IW's latest tech and build a game out of it. Doesn't make them bad, but it means IW do all the effort. Black Ops will just run on the MW2 engine.
