    School Receives Free Nintendo DS

Would you like a free Nintendo DS? Well, you may want to try sending a nice letter to Nintendo and requesting one from them!

That is exactly what an 11-year-old girl did, as part of a school class project. The project involved the practice of writing letters to companies, with the girl writing to her favourite, which happened to be Nintendo.

The sweet story was discovered when a man posted a draft copy of the letter online. He is supposedly the boyfriend of the teacher.

The girl apparently wrote the letter as she wasn't happy enough with the Wii she received for her birthday, along with the games available for it. Instead, she wanted a Nintendo DS, which her parents wouldn't buy for her. So, like anyone would (apparently not), she wrote to the company requesting one and stating the reasons why.

Most of the games I like aren't on Wii, so I'm a bit disappointed that my parents won't let me have a DS.

I really appreciate it if you replied or send me my biggest request.

Nintendo responded with a letter and sent an older model of the DS to the school. They also said that they rarely receive letters requesting a console, but they do have a small allocation to give out to schools.

Nintendo and the school are also disappointed that the letter got out into the expanse of the Internet, for obvious potential exploitation reasons.

Would you have the gall to write to a company expressing your dislike for one system and asking for a replacement?

I like nintendo. They have style in volumes Smilie

This stuff shouldn't leak though, now they get 16-year olds who don't want a job but do want to play games all day pretending to be an 11 year old girl using words like "stfu, I wantz da ds0r" by the thousands.

    Anyways. I like nintendo.

I know it's not good for Nintendo or the school, but I'm kinda happy it leaked onto the internet, otherwise I would never have gotten to read it. Smilie

It was really sweet of Nintendo to do that ^^

The girl has much better handwriting than me.

One day I will be a real life anime.
