E310 Media | Nintendo Appeals to Japanese Super Metroid Fans on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Metroid: Other M in Japan that targets fans of Super Metroid from the SNES. With more recent Metroid games failing to match the success of both Metroid on the NES and Super Metroid on the SNES in Japan, Nintendo has decided to try and claw back some of the old fans by showing off the recreation of Super Metroid's final battle, interweaving the stunning 3D visualisation with snippets of the SNES original.

News flash: Other M is a blatant attempt to appeal to Japanese gamers.
