E310 Media | Paper Mario Filed Under

Mario's debut on 3DS will come both in a kart and as a piece of paper. Nintendo have created a new entry into RPG series Paper Mario just for 3DS. If it's going the same way as the latest game in the series, Super Paper Mario on Wii, that 3D screen is going to get a going-over.

Super Paper Mario featured characters wandering in and out of the screen to solve puzzles, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the same happen here. Especially with the backgrounds the way they are in these screens...

Man, what a great time E3 is. There have been some really good reveals in the last few hours. Now I can have the little paper plumber on the go, and in awesome 3D. Can't wait to see gameplay vids of this. I just hope there are better villans than in SPM.

Paper Mario is one of my favourite series so I'm extremely happy to see a new game. They have always been quite creative so I wonder how they will use the 3D in the gameplay.

I love Paper Mario! It's one of my favorite Nintendo franchises. I'm so excited!!! I just PRAY that its not a Super Paper Mario - but from screen shots, I say that my prayers have been answered.

This looks gorgeous and I can imagine it being a fantastic game for showcasing the 3D effects. I can imagine them using the 3D for some creative gameplay elements.

I absolutely love the Paper Mario series.. it'll be interesting how this uses the features on the 3DS.
