Play as Master Hand in Super Smash Bros. Melee

After numerous codes and rumours it looks as if the gloved wonder is finally a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

There are numerous ways of glitching the game to unlock neat extras that the programmers had hoped players would, or wouldn't find, one of them being the ability to do battle as the long-running Super Smash Bros. antagonist, Master Hand.

The cheat was discovered several years ago, and since then GameTrailers tested out the technique, which appears to be working.

It requires a player plugged into port 3, the port that's assigned to Master Hand, and pressing a quick tap of the B and A buttons to try and bypass the character selection screen so the third player isn't mapped to a character, but instead takes the role of Master Hand.
