Pokemon Black and White Video Chat in Action on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

New footage snappeed up from Japanese tv reveals the new video chat mode in Pokemon Black and Whtie in action.

Earlier this week details surfaced into one of the new features in the upcoming Pokemon games for DS. When played on a 3DS or DSi trainers will be able to chat 1-to-1 online, and up to four can get together for local voice chat.

The feature made its debut on Japanese TV, with four quirky children's presenters attempting to conference together using DSi.

I know, it's fucking ridiculous!

But WiFi Video chat is actually pretty fucking neato. Might run better on the 3DS too.

Yeah it is pretty cool, i'm actually kind of surprised the DS can actually manage video chat at all, voice chat was pretty under utilized on the DS despite a mic being in every bloody system, I always just figured it was just asking the DS to do too much at any one time.

Uber lag on local play?! Probs even worse online. Bad, bad feature. Looks like a GB Camera. Probably is as well.

It actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. I'm glad they're making it forward-compatible with the 3DS.
