Nintendo Confirms Zelda for Gamescom on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo revealed its playable line-up for this year's trade/public Gamescom, including Zelda, Metroid and Donkey Kong.

The event, taking place in Germany between 18 and 20 August next week includes a hefty selection of Nintendo's best from E3, including the new Zelda MotionPlus-enabled game, but not including 3DS.

Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (Nintendo DS)
Kirby’s Epic Yarn (Wii)
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem (Nintendo DS)
Metroid: Other M (Wii)
Professor Layton and the Lost Future (Nintendo DS)
Tetris Party Deluxe (Wii & Nintendo DS)
Wii Party (Wii)

The voice and face behind many of Nintendo's mascots including Mario and Luigi, Charles Martinet, will be doing his thing on the show floor.

I'll be there, but the queues would be far too long to bother with these probably.
I hope theres enough Indie/smaller developers to keep my interest.

Same old big names, nothing new, starting to get a bit boring...

If they are going to announce something new and big, it is obviously that they are not going to put it in the list

True it's the same names, but these are all big games coming out within the next 6 months to a year's time. It'll be the first time consumers can go hands-on (I think) with many of these games, especially Zelda (which UK people didn't get to in the post E3 bash), Donkey Kong and Kirby.

No flingsmash, this game just keeps getting bumped, good to see wii party has a release date now, and Metroid and Donkey Kong before end of the year yah.

Maybe Nintendo is going to make some new announcments next month at TGS(or that the show they skip?) Last Story will probably be there big showing
