UK Games Channel Due November on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Ginx TV has confirmed plans for a dedicated video games channel to go live from November on digital tv and cable.

Both Sky and Virgin tv will play host to the new channel, which hopes to do what "MTV did for music", by providing a constant stream of gaming news, features and specialist shows by genre. The studio currently produces GameFace for Bravo TV and has its own online station.

Videogaming has broken through into mainstream entertainment, yet is thoroughly under-represented on TV.

This better be good, most of the video game channels that have come out in the past were absolute dreadful and most of the content shown was not upto date.

I miss Late Nite BITS, E.N.D was lovely <3

I hated that tripe that was GameMaster though. Dominik Diamond and Dexter Fletcher have to be two of the biggest twats that have ever graced British TV screens. Sir Patrick Moore on the other hand, remains a British legend.

Hopefully it will be better than Gamezville, with the Games Guru.

I'm guessing it will be really crap.

I had forgotten about the Games Guru...why have you reminded me?

Anyway, Ginx is a stupid name. Is that the network or the title of the program?
