Stuck with what to bring to the party? Nintendo have the solution: A copy of Wii Party bundled with an additional remote.

The latest inclusion to the Wii branded collection is a strongly multiplayer-driven affair. Sure you can go at it solo, but it's just not that fun alone. Cue additional Wii remote for your living room party shenanigans as Nintendo UK has confirmed that the new game will come with an extra controller when it arrives in Europe on 8th October.

No plans have been confirmed for other territories, but expect similar offers.

This is likely to be another mega selling game on the Wii now for sure.

I'm tempted to give it a go - looks like good multiplaying fun.

From what I've seen of Wii Party, it's like Mario Party only without the slow annoying parts and actually works well with the Wii Remote.

Why? They're including a remote so more people will be able to join in on the fun and you're refusing to buy it because Nintendo is giving you something for free? O_o I don't see anything wrong with this game or this awesome deal.Smilie

It goes against Nintendo's Seal of Quality (this is in jest) and is purely made to rake in the cash. It the sort of game that will easily sell well over a million.

This has nothing to do with the free Wiimote. I talking purely about the actual game.

I have nothing against anyone else buying it. Please buy what you will enjoy, I'm in no way trying to offend anyone, it's just a personal view I have on the product.

First off, that seal is both a joke and an excuse by Nintendo fanboys to make stuff up about the decline of "quality" Nintendo games. It didn't stop crap games from being released on the NES or SNES. Secondly, the same could be said for all games either with big names or franchises, regardless of "quality".

Oh, and for the record, all that seal meant was that the product you purchased for a Nintendo console would work on said console. It never determined whether a game was good or not, and other seals similar to this are on every major console released after 1985. This is why the video game crash of 1983 occurred, there was no quality control between console makers as the market was flooded with games not only for one console, but every console released at the time as well, along with funky adapters that made exclusives work with certain consoles. That, and everyone and their grandmas wanted to release a game of their own, too.

My little sister will love this game and since it comes with another Wiimote it's even better.

Well, I was planning on buying it without the Wiimote. This just seals the deal. Though I wish they would have include different color Wiimotes with it.
