I'd love to see a new Defence Attorney game for the 3DS.

My main problem with these games are the lack of possible routes you can take in court. When I present an item earlier than the game intends because I know that it is relevant, they should respond properly to that. Making multiple branches will go a long way to making the court battles much more engaging.

Only played the first two Phoenix games so don't know if the others improved on this. I guess starting off as GBA games didn't help but I really want them to go full out on the next game.

I'm kinda disappointed. It's been so long since Ace Attorney 4, and AAI so far has just felt like spin-off material that doesn't really feel essential to the plot of the franchise. Basically I can easily question its canonicity.

I hope AAI2 improves on this and feels more "essential" to the series, rather than being a spin-off in name and in nature like the first one.

And I really really want the true Ace Attorney 5 someday.

I thought there were only 3 games in the main series? :s Man I'm getting behind!

I also hope it's a bit less linear than the games I've played, and also a brush up on the graphics and sound would be nice! That said, I've loved every main series game I've played so whatever they do I'm sure it'll be okay.

Well the graphics and animations for Apollo Justice are very nice really. They're not nearly as good in AAI unfortunately so hopefully AAI2 will be up to AJ quality or higher.

As for linearity, AA is more like an interactive novel than a video game, I don't think linearity is an issue at all.

Yeah saying Ace Attorney is too linear is like saying GTA is too open.
Both are true but both are kind of the point of the games
