No Online Play for NBA Jam Wii

The prospect of online play in NBA Jam Wii was looking shaky, and now EA Sports have confirmed that Wii owners will remain offline.

The once Nintendo-exclusive does boast some platform specific functionality - a robust and supposedly meaty single player campaign, however confirmation from Community Manager Alain Quinto via Twitter reveals that only Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will be able to virtually venture beyond the living room and nip online.

It leaves two options for fans: Wii edition with ‘Remix mode’, no online, at retail price, or NBA Elite 11 PS3/360, NBA Jam as a free download, with online but no Remix.

Why EA? You made FIFA online for the Wii, why not this? I'm still looking forward to this, may buy it for the offline multiplayer and single player career.

I believe the phrase for something like this is "Kicking 'em while he's down".

LOL... I think what EA wants you to do is to buy the game in 2 different platforms... that is very clever since must people have a Wii and something else... so they say "Why not brake the game in two (Online XBOX and PS3 and an extra mode for Wii) and make people buy both if they want the full experience?"... F U EA.
