More Ace Attorney Investigations 2 Details

Capcom made a big song and dance about the sequel to Ace Attorney Investigations at TGS, with new details on Miles Edgeworth's latest setup.

In some of the screens and footage shown this week we saw protagonist Edgeworth beside chess pieces, and according to Capcom's Motohide Eshiro and Takeshi Yamazaki the chess theme is just for visual effect.

The new mechanic however is called "Logic Chess", and finds players throwing out multiple questions from two options to those witness who are proving impossible to crack.

Ace Attorney Character designer Tatsuo Iwamoto confirmed new and perhaps familiar faces to encounter, including a reporter known as Mikiko Hayami, Taro Tanaka who sells ice-cream, Zheng Fa President Outeikun and a rather tough female judge who goes by the name Hakari Mikagami.
