New Kirby Epic Yarn Wii Footage from TGS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The adorable pink puffball Kirby took the stage at TGS this year, with new footage shown of his upcoming Wii adventure Epic Yarn.

Kirby unwravels an all new adventure on the Wii with a whole host of stringy mechanics in a gorgeous patchwork design. Japan and North America get the game next month, with Europe to follow in Q1 2011.

This game looks absolutely amazing. One part Super Paper Mario, and one part Little Big Planet, with a few other things mixed in.

A lot of creativity in the design, and they have made the design an integral part of the gameplay. It's like you have to retrain your eyes to understand this new scenery, and that's what it will take for you to find all of those nice little secrets, and I guess just to complete the game as well.

Love it. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

at this point, the game looks too simple and has nothing new since E3. I was hoping for hardcore game like another Kirby Super Star. 8 incredibly amazing games and a ton of replay value behind it. To me, that how Kirby should be.

It doesn't need it. Based on the E3 build that I played the other month, it's nigh on perfection. A bit easy, but that's Kirby all over.
