Want to see how Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is shaping up for Nintendo DS? Footage inside from the latest build at this year's TGS.

The DS remake of the mobile phone game is said to be like a mix of Birth by Sleep and previous DS game 358/2 Days, and judging by the footage from the show snapped earlier this week, is shaping up for it's October 7 2010 release in Japan. Europe and North America are due shortly after.

Looks like it uses the same system as birth by sleep did in terms of the battle system with decks. Looks a bit strange but good at the same time.

I love the deck style fighting. And the return to basics is nice. Still, do we need to have another filler game before 3?

This is not a filler game it is a direct continuation of when number 2 ends. There have not been any filler games in this series.
