Learn English with Pokémon on Nintendo DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo has revealed a brand new style of Pokémon game for the Nintendo DS - one where you can learn to type in English!  Whilst everyone was getting excited over the news of the Nintendo 3DS launch date, price and line-up, there was a quick announcement that Genius Sonority (Dragon Quest Swords, Pokémon Battle Revolution, 100 Classic Book Collection) has been busying itself not on Dragon Quest X as some had speculated, but on Battle & Get! Pokémon Typing DS!, which appears to be an educational tool for Japanese DS owners whereby they can learn to type in English. It comes complete with a handy new accessory that allows for quick typing - the Nintendo Wireless Keyboard.

This regular DS title will launch at some point in 2011 and is unlikely to leave Japan, unless it receives a limited release in mainland European territories, as English Training did.

Will we get a version for learning Japanese?

Highly doubt it, especially as this doesn't teach English, it simply teaches romaji, from what I can gather. Smilie Methinks 99% chance of this not leaving Japan.
