New Star Fox 3DS Screenshots on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Back in the summer, during Nintendo's E3 briefing, the company announced upgraded versions of N64 classics would be hitting the 3DS. These included The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64). Earlier, we posted up new screenshots from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the 3DS and now more new screenshots from Lylat Wars have been made available, showing it in action on the 3DS.

The game features improved visuals, along with the inclusion of using the 3DS touchscreen to see transmissions from your Arwing team-mates, Peppy, Falco and Slippy. A short clip showing the game in action, on Nintendo's 3DS show-reel trailer also confirms the voice acting is still intact for the Japanese version, although there's no confirmation on whether they are the original voice clips.

Looks gorgeous, definitely can't wait - love Star Fox 64, only got into the series in the last 4/5 years or so!

Hopefully the original voices will be intact but if not I'd like the cast from starfox assualt to voice the characters since they were decent.
Game looks pretty good, can't wait Smilie

Look at the enemy in the top screen, this looks far more overhauled than OoT. It may be a remake of a remake but I can't wait. It should utilise the 3D well too because of the perspective.

It does look nice, a bit sparse though, but I guess that's because it's a faithful remake of the original.

I remember these levels. Ahh, good times.

I like how the characters are seen centrally on screen.

Hot damn! This press conference is unleashing so much awesomeness, I can barely contain myself!

Now, we just need Ninty to announce a legitimate StarFox sequel for Wii. Smilie
