Epic Games VP Mark Rein was recently quizzed on whether the company would support the 3DS. On first impressions, no.
In an online conference with Rein the subject of 3D and handhelds was mentioned leading to the all-important question of whether or not there would be 3DS projects on the way.
Currently it's a no as the studio feel that the new hardware falls below the minimum specifications - so no plans for Epic games or engines for 3DS.
You couldn't do a game that looks likeon it (which can run on iPhone 3GS), for example.
However Epic has yet to receive any hardware so things may well change once the studio has had a chance to dissect Nintendo's new 3D baby.
