The DSi and DSi XL have been dipped in the red bucket for Mario's anniversary but the Wii seemed to have missed out - until now.
The limited edition Wii comes in a limited edition red flavour and is the first to bundle the new Wii Remote Plus controller containing MotionPlus, also in red. The Wii Remote jacket and nunchuck are too taking on Mario's colour.
Software wise, as part of the Super Mario Bros 25th Anniversary celebrations, this Wii receives a unique version of the game - where coin boxes appear to have been replaced with "25".
From November 11th all newer Wii consoles produced in Japan will include the Wii Remote Plus as standard.
Currently the system is exclusive to Japan, but with it being Mario 'n'all it's likely to make it over to the West in some form.
