Frontier Blowing in More LostWinds on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Frontier's popular run on Nintendo's WiiWare with LostWinds is not over with a new entry planned for the future.

The unique wind-controlled platformer has done well with both press and gamers since its inception two years ago, seeing an equally popular follow-up emerge last year.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Frontier's David Braben confirmed that "there are still many more stories to tell from [game world] Mistralis", with the LostWinds series "not done and dusted".

Those hoping for a version that'll take advantage of Sony's Move controller may be dissapointed, with no plans to expand the series beyond WiiWare at the moment.

The third game NEEDS a new theme tune or a at least a different take on the one used in the first 2 games. Listening to that same dull theme repeated several times on the second game ruined it for me.

As good as they are, I think they need to add more gimmicks with the wind powers. The first two games became repetitive quickly since each power was used little.

Do want.

Stop messing about with this DL crap, gives Wii owners a fully fleshed out disc based game. The last two games were way too short, I wouldn't pay for another.

They didnt seem short for the price you pay. Perhaps not the epicly long/hard game Robox is, but still pretty good value imho.

Id love another download title, but I wouldn't pay for a full price retail game.
