High Voltage and SEGA have put together a handful of new screens and a cinematic intro trailer for the upcoming Conduit sequel on Wii.

Out in 2011 The Conduit 2 promises a richer solo-experience with improved on-line and offline multiplayer action for the first-person shooter enthusiast in you!

The new footage of The Conduit 2, stained with potential spoilers, shows what happened to protagonist Agent Ford after the first game, and just where he ends up in the sequel. We find Ford up against a whole host of new extraterrestrials and less friendly faces, with a greater level of detail.

Looks very shiny! But the backgrounds still a bit dull looking hope they have more variation this time around!

Looking better than the first one. Hope they do a CE for this one as well.

While the usage of cg cinemas is definitely welcome, they revamped their voice cast. It's now absolutely atrocious. Ford sounds like he's a robot, Prometheus is suddenly British (not that I have anything against you Brits, just not sure why they'd change it so radically) and he sounds like a cheap C-3PO ripoff. Why'd they do that? I hope the acting in the game itself gets better. That opening cinema makes me want to jam pencils in my ears. Perfect example of trying to fix what isn't broken.

Wishlist: Last Story, Pandora's tower, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3

This makes me want to check out the first game. I was interested in it, but it fell to the back burner between everything else. I have to give it a look.

Anyone played/enjoyed the first title?

Like video game music?!

I loved the first game. The story is a bit shallow and the online is basically unplayable now, though.
