New Details | The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords GC...
...Not a Simple Bonus Disc Affair!

Updated - It has now been revealed that The Four Swords will not be the only game in the package when you purchase it. Included will be the simple maze-orientated game, The Legend of Zelda : Tetra's Trackers!

As of early December, gamers will be able to get their hands on the eagerly awaited Shigeru Miyamoto-developed Pac Man Vs as a free gift when purchasing one of three Namco GameCube titles - I-Ninja, R: Racing Evolution or Pac Man World 2 on Player's Choice. Therefore it was assumed that the Capcom (Flagship)-developed GameCube version of Zelda: The Four Swords, a reworking of the extra quest found in the port of Zelda III on the GBA, would go along the same lines and be included as a freebie with another product.

But it has now been confirmed that Nintendo intends on releasing the intriguing title, complete with its high resolution GBA-style graphics, as a fully-fledged game this coming February in Japan at what is hoped to be a reduced price similar to the recent GameCube version of Wario Ware that came out in the Land of the Rising Sun a few weeks ago. Currently there are still no plans for a US and European release, but it will most likely only be a matter of time before details regarding this begin to emerge.
