Street Fighter IV 3DS Video Presentation on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Capcom took the stage during the Nintendo World 2011 public show this weekend to explain the 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV.

The portable edition of the popular console/arcade brawler features 35 characters from the Street Fighter universe including the likes of Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Vega and many more. The main emphasis of the stage show was to illustrate the robust online play features. Capcom is considering worldwide, with a spectator mode dubbed "Channel Live" for up to 6 players, with viewing preferences set individually. Like your local play? There'll also be download play for those who like to see their opponents squirm in person.

There'll also be the option to disable the touch-screen for command short-cuts for a more traditional and fairer battle.

Even though I'm not a fan of both Street Fighter 4's art style and the SF games in general, the 3DS version does look fantastic. Great news for SF fans! Smilie

Looks brilliant, can't wait! Glad it's a launchy over in Japan, hopefully it'll be the same in Europe Smilie Very slick!
