Several hours back, the Golden Joystick Awards, voted by the gaming public, took place at popular London based Park Lane hotel, hosted by Phil Jupitus and filmed for the public by MTV. There are several awards for various different sectors of the industry, and the majority of which had entries from Nintendo games and hardware. The awards are presented by Dennis Publishing and have been voted by viewers to the company
