Disney Reveals LEGO Pirates Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Following the initial announcement of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney Interactive has now unveiled the first official trailer of the game in motion. Heading to Wii and Nintendo DS in May, to coincide with the launch of the highly anticipated fourth film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the Traveller's Tales-developed game will be based in the world of the globally successful film franchise, incorporating storylines, locations and characters from the first three films (The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End), as well as the upcoming film.

Check out the trailer below:

Whilst no talk of a Nintendo 3DS edition has emerged yet, in the original release it simply stated 'Nintendo DS family,' which could merely mean DS/DSL/DSi/DSiXL, but just as easily point towards an eventual 3D edition arriving as well.

why does it just say Playstation and not a specific Sony console....

Presumably they didn't want too many logos on there, and since it's PlayStation 3 and Portable, the PS logo was sufficient in their eyes.

Looks interesting, if a bit bland.
