Mario's Full Press Conference Video

Mario

To celebrate the release of his latest sports game Mario Sports Mix, the porky plumber will be holding his own live press conference.

On the Official Mario Sports Mix website from 5pm Pacific Time tonight 7th February (1am GMT 8th Feb), Mario will be answering questions on his life and history of the Mushroom Kingdom in the world of sports.

With Mario Sports Mix, players get four full sports games packed onto one disc, which is a great value. In addition, the ability to jump into games as your own Mii character and play with Mario and other Mushroom Kingdom characters makes Mario Sports Mix a unique sports experience that can't be found anywhere else.
- Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America's director of Public Relations.

Update - Below is the full video of the 'Press Conference' in which Mario speaks for so long that you have to hope Nintendo never greenlights a fully-voiced Mario title, or at least omits the lead character's voice!

[ Thanks to Nintendo Everything for the video ]

LOL Charles Martinet's biggest script to date...and biggest paycheque.

Funny yet proof that Mario should keep his mouth shut. Very annoying. Smilie

Stick with the one-liners Mario! Smilie

+1. Even though Mario's voice is awesome, it's really best suited for one-liners. I actually turned off the video after two minutes because it just seemed weird and kind of annoying too. Smilie

I think it would cause suicide if they had a Mario game where there is full voices. I had to quit after 2 minutes of this video Smilie

Like Mario Sunshine? Bowser's voice was so terrible in that.

Minus Bowser, I thought the voice acting was great and well suited in Sunshine. It helped with the story. Galaxy just seemed sooooo dull story-wise when compared to Sunshine.

But Sunshine's presentation was so dull, compared with Galaxy.

Plus Sunshine had a goofy story, in my opinion.

From my memories playing Sunshine, I never really got the impression that there was much of a story at all, just like other Mario games. You had the beginning of the game, then a slight bit after getting 10 shines(I think?) where Peach gets kidnapped and you meet Bowser Jr. and then it's practically nothing until the end. I remember how I was always hoping after each shine that something would happen until the very end of the game. Smilie
