Namco Bandai has confirmed the Ganbarion developed fighter, One Piece: Gigant Battle for release in Europe.

From the makers of Jump Super Stars and its successor Jump Ultimate Stars, the new One Piece game follows the same concept with an action-packed fighter for up to four players. Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji and Brook are amongst the twenty strong cast of friends and foes from the One Piece universe.

Wi-Fi battles, solo missions and side quests are amongst the features in the new game.

Considering Ganbarion's two fantastic DS fighters sadly never made it, legitimately, to the West, it's great to see the developer getting another crack of the whip and seeing the end result actually coming here!

Oh look, another One Piece game that Europe gets and the US is denied. Thanks a ton, Namdai.

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.
