Namco Bandai Picks up Power Rangers

Namco Bandai has nabbed the rights to publish games based on the longrunning Japanese Power Rangers brand.

Who here remembers those five chap and chapettes dressed up in silky spandex (occasionally other threads), who waltzed about punching putties and fusing their robot allies. Well, you'll soon be able to recreate the adventures with new games based on the license.

The first outing will be based on the newest generation of bad-guy fighting teens, the Power Rangers Samurai, who come together to attempt to master the Samurai Symbols of Power - Fire, Water, Sky, Forest and Earth and protect the planet from the devious Master Xandred.
