Vanillaware Flavoured 3DS Game on the Way on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Marvelous Entertainment's Yoshifumi Hashimoto has been speaking to Siliconera, about the possibility of Muramasa: The Demon Blade appearing on Nintendo's 3DS. Last year the company via Group Manager Tomio Kanazawa, mentioned plans to port the title to Nintendo's handheld.

Hashimoto's-san:

“It’s not Muramasa, but I’m working on a 3DS title that has really incredible 2D visuals while taking full advantage of the 3DS’ capabilities,”

Whatever it is, I'm almost certain that I'll buy and greatly enjoy it as I love Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Smilie

Marvelous Entertainment is actually one of my favorite third party companies. I own some titles(No More Heroes 1/2 and Little King's Story) that are from one of their subsidiaries, Rising Star games, which are fantastic. Smilie

Well, as long as it continues to show how great Vanillaware are with 2D art then they have my $40 and I'll pre-order ASAP.

Well its good to see there's still love for 2D games going on. But personally Muramasa was a major let down for me on the animation sides of things, the same game could of been made in flash...
